Social entrepreneurs are commercially minded start-up founders. They help build capacity in small but growing social enterprises, and encourage companies and individuals to redistribute their talent and time for good.

The Immersion Programme is for business professionals who want to do something different on a short term basis, learn more about social enterprise, and share their skills in the role of Consultant.

  • It's an 8 week programme that runs twice a year.
  • Participants go through a one-week training course, and become part of a global community of purpose-driven professionals who undertake a specialist consultancy assignment with a social entrepreneur.
  • The time requirement is a minimum of 3 days a week on the programme over the 8 weeks, and the majority of time is spent supporting the client on the assignment as well as engaging in additional training and mentoring / coaching sessions.
  • 10+ years of professional work experience is required.

They also offer Essential Business Support for Social Enterprises, as part of their year-long business support incubator.

This is for those who might have initial funding for their social startup, and are looking to build on a pilot.
