Sky - Get Into Tech programme

The Sky Get Into Tech course provides beginner level training which aims to give you the skills necessary to apply for entry level jobs. By the end of the course you will be equipped with the technical skills you need to embark on a number of different routes into the industry.

The evening course will begin with 5 days of full immersion modules, to build a foundation of skills in a short amount of time.

For the remaining 14 weeks, the course will be in the evenings, 2 days per week on the Sky campus.

At the end of each course module you will be offered some mini-projects to work on which relate to your course and can be done whenever you want during the week. They will give you further support via virtual meetings with course instructors.

There is no charge for this course.

Sky - Get Into TV Operations programme

Learn how Sky broadcasts high-quality content, as well as the types of roles they offer in another key, tech-focused area.

Over the 5 days, you’ll learn all about Sky’s products, broadcast fundamentals, content delivery, playout, how they work at Sky, and hear from some special guest speakers.

You don’t need to be a TV or tech expert to take part. They look for detail-obsessed, collaborative people who enjoy problem-solving, stay calm when it gets hectic, care about customers and are curious about technology. 

This is also a free course.
