OCTOBER 2022 LAUNCH PAD ALUMNA

“The course is definitely a game changer.”

OCTOBER 2022 LAUNCH PAD ALUMNA

Having spent a long time in her career, Sarah Nolan was ready to see what else was out there in the world of work. But how? The Launch Pad helped her expand her bubble, connect with a new community of people and make her shift more fun.

Why did you decide to take part in the Launch Pad?

I felt at a crossroads my career and had been doing similar work for a long period of time.

I wanted to understand what options in the world there were for me, and to discover what was outside of the bubble I was in.

What's the biggest difference the Launch Pad has made for you and your shift?

There's so many people in the room going through the same thing as you at the same time.

Once that community of people start talking to you and exploring together, it brings momentum, and more possibilities. The Launch Pad cohort is a safe, friendly community – it's not judgemental and you can be you.

Did you have any doubt about taking part?

I think when you join any new course you're always worried about how you'll feel.

How will you get the most out of it? Are you going to have time to do the activities? What is the end goal?

What you'll find is in the first few weeks, you glide into it, it becomes the norm and you start having fun, which helps you overcome those initial nerves.

What would you say to someone thinking about signing up to the Launch Pad?

If you've been on the website, and you've been unhappy in your career for so long, the course is definitely a game changer.

I think most of us in the course wouldn't have wanted it to end because it was such a lovely, great community.

You can find full details about the course on our dedicated Launch Pad page.
