Last weekend the Guardian published an article about salaries, and interviewed a cross section of people working in very different sectors about their income. Those interviewed include some career changers, and I found it interesting to read about how everybody works for different reasons - some for love, some for money, some to make a difference and a lot of people trying to balance money with satisfaction. I'm fed up with running around nervously in circles, trying to find the answer to 'what career is right for me?' - overwhelmed by the amount of guidance out there on how to change career and find the perfect job. There's so much choice I just end up confused and frozen!
