Keep making progress towards work you love

Our Accelerator

For Launch Pad alumni only, our Accelerator is designed to keep you moving forwards in your shift, faster than you could manage by yourself.

  • Get clear on potential new career directions
  • Shift your mindset about what’s possible
  • Create new work opportunities

You’ve graduated from your Launch Pad but are struggling to keep making progress

You got into action in the Launch Pad. You valued the step-by-step process to follow and the support from coaches and the community.

However, you now feel you’ve lost some momentum. You struggle to get motivated. You’re not sure on what to do next. And you’re starting to slip back into feeling negative, despondent and stuck in your career.

You want to make the most of having done the Launch Pad. You’re not willing to still be in the same position a year from now. And most of all, you’re committed to feeling excited about the work you do.

Our Accelerator is designed to move you faster towards work you love, through personalised support, accountability and community

Get expert input and accountability from your own coach

You’ll have your own coach to partner with you on your shift. You can message your coach through our software at any time. Stuck? Need help? Want to make sense of the clues you’ve gathered? They’ll be there to support you.

They’ll also hold you to account for the actions you’ll be taking – in other words, there’ll be nowhere to hide!

Stay focused with your own personalised monthly action plan

Every month, your coach will support you to build your own personalised action plan, bringing in new exercises and missions from our methodology at exactly the time you need them.

Take the worry out of your shift and leave yourself confident that you’re taking the most effective actions.

Learn, connect and get support from others

Don’t do this alone. Alongside your own coach and the other coaches who are part of the Accelerator (see below), you’ll also be part of a community of bright, motivated shifters like you.

You’ll stay connected with them in our private forum, with dedicated discussion channels focused on the most important aspects of career change. You’ll also have a fortnightly group call, where you’ll get answers and coaching around your most important challenges. And all calls will be recorded.

Follow our step-by-step, structured process

Get expert input on your shift from certified career coaches

Your coaches for the course haven't just made their own successful shifts; they also bring years of experience (and connections) to share with you from working in large corporates, government, small + medium sized businesses, non-profits, international development, social enterprise and entrepreneurship.

Anna is a career coach with a background in PR & social entrepreneurship

As with many, Anna's journey to career coaching started with her own experiences of the misery of Monday mornings and being unfulfilled at work. Discovering London's buzzing start-up scene inspired her that it was possible to leap off the treadmill and create a work life of wonderment, and she ended up training as a coach to help others do the same. Anna is a trained Co-Active Coach and has a post-grad qualification in Career Coaching (gained with Distinction).

Louisa

Louisa is a career coach with a background in corporate and international tax

Louisa was recognised as a high performer throughout her 17-year corporate career in tax (in a Big 4 accountancy firm and FTSE 100 businesses), and has happily shifted into career and life coaching. She trained with the Coaches Training Institute and also qualified as a Careershifters & Firework Advanced Certified Coach. Louisa has appeared in many musical theatre productions, and written content for theatre programmes. She loves spending time with her amazing daughter.

Lisa is a career coach with a background in content management and online learning

Lisa Russell became a career change coach after navigating a messy, painful and difficult shift of her own. She's now an ICF-accredited coach (CPCP) with advanced training from Firework and Careershifters, and a bespoke portfolio career that she loves. Outside of work, she can often be found spending time with her wonderful husband and daughter, nibbling sneaky Kit Kats, or indulging her new-found love of escape rooms.

Richard

Richard is the founder of Careershifters with a background in IT consulting and entrepreneurship

Disillusioned with corporate life, Richard quit his London consulting job in search of something more meaningful. He shifted initially to working for a socially focused start-up and he's since shifted again to co-found multiple social businesses in the UK and India. He's passionate about supporting people to be the best version of themselves and loves turning ideas into reality.

Frequently Asked Questions

I haven’t completed all of the Launch Pad missions and exercises. Can I still join the Accelerator?

Yes. When you start the Accelerator, you’ll complete a short assessment to help us understand where you’re at, and then we’ll support you to complete the Launch Pad Missions / Exercises that are important to help you move forward.

How often will I communicate with my coach?

That’s up to you and your coach to decide when you start working together. You may drop them a message daily to check in, weekly to update on progress, or on an ad-hoc rhythm.

How will the fortnightly group calls work?

They’ll work in a similar way to the calls on the Launch Pad – and they’ll be even more focused. We’ll ask for you to submit questions in advance, and we’ll focus on those in the calls, as well as having space for other questions and coaching.

When is the first group call?

It'll take place on 18th September at 8.00pm UK time -- and it'll be recorded if you can't make it.

What if I can’t make the date for a group call?

All the group calls will be recorded, so you can review any call you miss in your own time. You’ll also be able to submit questions ahead of the call, even if you don’t attend.
