A couple of weeks ago I watched a documentary programme about London Zoo, and my ears pricked up when they introduced one of the keepers - he used to work in the City and gave it all up to work in the zoo. A pretty dramatic career change!
So with a little digging I have found his story online, here, towards the middle of the article. I hope it inspires you - and it shows that with hard work (and sometimes unpaid, menial work) you can get the job of your dreams.
