In keeping with the ethos to 'be open' i wound up on a 'speed dating on the Eurostar' trip to Paris this Valentine's day, and met a lot of people who haven't a clue what they really want to do career wise! I met quite a few students who were studying things they really weren't sure they wanted to continue with post-uni, and i found it very refreshing to meet people who were open about this. Fact is, it seems, a lot of people don't know what they want, more that they know what they don't want! one guy i chatted to has finally, after three years of trying to figure it out, decided to become an MP. It took him three years for his epiphany! so we can't rush these things, sometimes the time has to be right for that light bulb moment, and all we can do is keep motivated in our search
I launched a small online store to sell some of my illustrations: thewolfgang.etsy.com
and i found out just this evening that my former Bollywood dance teacher is now one of the Uk's leading burlesque dance queens:

it is great to see her living her dream and be passionate about what she does, very inspiring! when you know of somebody who has made a successful change it is heartening.
in terms of my 'career change' i'm 'tending my garden daily' as they say + in the process of making my first animated short film alongside acting classes which is going v v well. Just need to balance things and not go bankrupt!
can't wait to write my 'i've made the shift at last!' shiftlog entry. It will happen sooner or later!
