I've found a true passion, folks...

I think the last time i wrote was in July, here is what has happened since:

i left my art school course. yes, i am creative, but i need to be creative with other people, i need to collaborate and mess about and have fun while i'm making things, rather than sat alone concentrating hard on an illustration... people are incredibly important to me.

i got extras work in a touring play and i loved it. LOVED it. i'm setting up an acting company with some other actors at the mo, and we'll be rehearsing next month for our first production. so exciting

i went to barcelona for a week's city break and came back recharged and ready to live life to the full. i am a passionate person and life's too short, i want to live full tilt.

so i have found that creatively the one thing that brings me true joy is acting and being part of cast. a while ago i was seriously considering a 'portfolio career' but actually now i really want to devote myself to something that brings me joy, rather than spread myself thinly. i'd rather have one or two major loves than five likes!!!

i don't know exactly what's next, but i feel very lucky and happy to have found something (drama) that i know i'm good at, that i'm completely open hearted to do, and that i know i enjoy when i'm doing it. i feel committed to having it in my life whichever way i can, and it feels great to finally have a sense of sureness about something after a long time of uncertainty

so let's see what i have to say in a few months time....
