honesty , the best policy?

Hi

I ve been working in the travel industry for 4years.It been a while since I really really really really wanted to change job.I started with taking e larning courses (to refresh my Microsoft office skills) and updating my cv. however , I keep getting calls from recuiter specialised in the travel industry.

The jobs they offered would be basiscally the same, as what I m currently doing but with a serious increase in money because its in central London.

On my currentl salary, I 'm already struggling with financing my online courses, even tough I ve already cut back on luxuries like going to restaurant, or the cinema.

Should I be honest with the recruitment agent saying that I would like to take find a job outside travel but as I m stuck in my job , I d rather take a job that pays better? I mean does that sound horrible? Just take this better paid job to financing a new career?

any body out there in a similar situation?
