Right. I knew it would happen sooner or later. Here comes the admin.

I found a useful resource on the Business Link website which helps you identify the taks you need to complete to set up your business. You can click a few boxes and get a personalised to-do list.

Hm. Slightly longer than I expected. But still my enthusiasm hasn't diminished. In fact, seeing a tickable list makes it a bit easier to get my head around.

A new start

I handed my resignation in this week after almost 9 years working at the same company, to go freelance.

It is amazing the effect that a positive decision can have on your career change. All the deliberation, doubts, fears and axieties melt away in one fell swoop.

Now I have other things to tackle, but I've made the first step - and that's the most difficult part done and dusted.

I'm starting to regain the excitement of endless opportunty - something I've not felt for a long, long time.

Now to buy a new computer - mmmm Macbook Pro....
