Pioneer Course Terms & Conditions

The Pioneer Course (the “Course”), the Pioneer Course website (the "Site") and the services offered on and through the Site and supporting materials and webinar calls (the "Services") are offered to you ("You"/"Your") by Careershifters Limited, 75 Kenton Street, London, WC1N 1NN, UK. ("We"/"Us"/"Our"). These Terms and Conditions of Use were last updated on 8th September 2016.

1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions of Use
1.1 By starting the Course, accessing any part of the Site or accessing the Services, You shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions of Use in full. If You do not accept these Terms and Conditions of Use in full, You must leave the Course and stop using the Site and the Services immediately.
1.2  We reserve the right to update and change the Terms and Conditions of Use from time to time without notice. Any new features that augment or enhance the current Services, including the release of new tools and resources, shall be subject to the Terms and Conditions of Use. Continued use of the Services after any such changes shall constitute Your consent to such changes. You should check these Terms and Conditions of Use periodically for changes. 

2. Copyright and Other Intellectual Property Rights
2.1 Your use of the Site grants no rights to You in relation to copyright, trade marks or any other of Our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of third parties.
2.2 You may not, without limitation, copy, reproduce, republish, download, post, broadcast, record, transmit, commercially exploit, communicate to the public, or otherwise use the content included in or provided via the Site or other services provided by the Course except for Your own personal, non-commercial use or where We expressly give You a right to do so on a case-by-case basis.

3.Improvements 
3.1 We are constantly seeking to improve the Course, the Site and the Services and We may therefore change any aspect of the Course, the Site or the Services, including the availability of any suppliers, features, information, database or content.

4. Limitation of Liability
4.1 Whilst We will use all reasonable endeavors to correct any errors or omissions as soon as practicable once they have been brought to Our attention, We do not warrant that the Site will be available uninterrupted and in a fully operating condition nor that the information on and provided via the Site or the Services will be free from errors or omissions. 
4.2 Save that nothing in this paragraph 4 shall restrict Your statutory rights (including Your rights to receive a reasonable standard of service) all content and services on the Site are provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We do not make any representation or give any warranty in respect of the Site or its content, including, without limitation, any advice or guidance on career change, or other information given (on a personal or general basis). Our staff cannot give You advice, but can offer support and guidance. Any decisions or action taken by You on the basis of information provided on or via the Site or the Services, is at Your sole discretion and risk and You should obtain individual professional advice where necessary.
4.3 We do not give any warranty as to the accuracy, suitability, reliability, completeness, performance, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from viruses, or other harmful programs of the content contained in or accessed through the Site.
4.4 You expressly understand and agree that We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or any other damages whatsoever, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if We have been advised of the possibility of such damages), arising out of, or resulting from, (a) the use or the inability to use the Site or the Services; (b) the use of any content or other material in the Services or on the Site or any website or websites linked to the Site, (c) the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any goods, data, information or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the Site or the Services; (d) unauthorised access to or alteration of Your transmissions or data; (e) statements or conduct of any third party on the Site or the Services; or (f) any other matter relating to the Site. Save in respect of personal injury or death due to Our negligence, in no event shall the total liability to You for all damages, losses, and causes of action (whether in contract, tort (including, but not limited to, negligence), or otherwise) exceed the amount paid by You, if any, for accessing the Site or the Services. If You are dissatisfied with any portion of the Site or the Services, or with any of these Terms and Conditions of Use, Your sole and exclusive remedy is the discontinuation of Your use of the Site or the Services.
4.5 Any product, offering, content and material downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of the Site is done at Your sole risk and You will be solely responsible for any damage to Your computer system or loss of data that results from the download of any such product, offering, content or material.

5. Guarantee
5.1 There is no guarantee in regards to an interview (information interview or job offer interview) after the Course comes to an end. However, We honestly think that if You work with the materials provided through the Course, the Services and on the Site, You will be able to get one of the previously mentioned interviews.

6. Account Terms
6.1 You must be 16 years or older to be part of the Course.
6.2 As part of the on-boarding process to the Course, You must agree that You are financially, mentally and emotionally able to undertake the Course, and will let Us know as soon as issues arise that may impact Your involvement in the Course. You will not be able to participate in the Course unless You agree to these prerequisites before starting the Course.
6.3 You must provide Your legal full name, a valid email and home address, and any other information requested in order to complete the signup process.
6.4 Your login may only be used by one person - a single login shared by multiple people is not permitted.
6.5 You are responsible for maintaining the security of Your account and password. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from Your failure to comply with this security obligation.
6.6 You are responsible for all content posted and activity that occurs under Your account.
6.7 You may not use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not, in the use of the Site or the Services, violate any laws (including but not limited to copyright laws).
 
7. Pioneer Course Plus
If You have purchased the Pioneer Course Plus package, the following additional terms and conditions apply to You:
7.1 You can make use of Your four 30-minute coaching sessions with a Course coach at any time during the Course and up to six months after the last day of the Course.
7.2 You can cancel or rearrange a coaching session You have booked with a Course coach if You give the Course coach more than 24 hours’ notice that You wish to do so.  If You give the Course coach less than 24 hours’ notice that You wish to cancel or rearrange a coaching session, you will forfeit that coaching session.
7.3 You can make use of Your LinkedIn / CV review at any time between the start of Week 4 of the Course and up to six months after the last day of the Course.
7.4 Unlimited email support lasts for the duration of the Course and ends on the last day of the Course.
 
8. Cancellation
8.1 If at any point during the first 30 days of the Course You notify Us in writing to help@careershifters.org that you wish to cancel Your place on the Course, then We will offer You a full refund of the Course fee You have paid to Us.
