A good friend of mine recently turned me on to this amazing speech from a couple of years back, made by Apple CEO Steve Jobs.
He was addressing several hundred new graduates at Stanford college in the US. As you might expect (?), it's inspirational stuff.
He talks about finding your passion, about failure, about love but most of all about not wasting a single second of your precious time on this earth.
The quote that struck a chord with me? This one:
"have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become".
That's pretty much how I feel about deciding to quit the security of my day job and leaping into the unknown - I've put my faith in my intution that this is 100% the right thing to do.
Oh and he says - "stay hungry, stay foolish".
