Well, that should teach me. That one phone call I made yesterday, and could have make a month ago, seems to have led to a perfect job! I can't quite believe it is real, especially as it is so quick.
The work involves coaching, training and strategy planning with social entrepreneurs and small businesses in deprived areas. Just what I love!
So all I have to do now is send him my CV, arrange a visit and then arrange childcare. That last one is new to me, but I don't feel scared about it the way that I do when I am trying to market myself. I feel like I'm the one on the postition of power, though that may all change if I find no-one suitable.
But the main lesson is, I spend more time worrying than I need to. Every time I act things tend to work out. Perhaps next time I will remember this before and not after.
