I may have a job already!

By Devi Clark

Well, that should teach me. That one phone call I made yesterday, and could have make a month ago, seems to have led to a perfect job! I can't quite believe it is real, especially as it is so quick.

The work involves coaching, training and strategy planning with social entrepreneurs and small businesses in deprived areas. Just what I love!

So all I have to do now is send him my CV, arrange a visit and then arrange childcare. That last one is new to me, but I don't feel scared about it the way that I do when I am trying to market myself. I feel like I'm the one on the postition of power, though that may all change if I find no-one suitable.

But the main lesson is, I spend more time worrying than I need to. Every time I act things tend to work out. Perhaps next time I will remember this before and not after.

Great news Devi!

Taking action always beats worrying, though it's easy to forget that...

Looking forward to hearing more about the job. Good luck finalising it.
