Clare J Hughes encourages you to find and live your very best dream

Have you ever wondered why you never reach the horizon no matter how much or fast you chase it? The secret to Living your Life to the Full is in bringing the horizon to you.

How? Become a magnet and create your life in the form of a work of Art.

First, begin with the threads. These are interwoven seamlessly to create the canvas on which your life fulfilled will be created. Contrary to popular belief it is not the frame on which the canvas is stretched but the threads that support the painting. These threads support the re-creation of you: the work of art; in the same way that life supports everything and it is in the integration of these threads that you will begin to flow with life and life will begin to flow with you.

There are three main threads to consider.

Recognise that Every Dream is possible

We are bombarded with 2 million bits of information per second. In order to protect our brains from shutting down our brains delete, distort and generalise that information into lightweight conscious chunks whilst the majority slides into the safety of the unconscious. Question is what are you sorting for and is it minimising your options and thus stripping you of your power to live your life to the full?

Imagine that you are standing in an art supply store with 2 million potential hues. In your hand you hold seven colours that you have used for the longest time to paint picture after picture of your current state of life. Do you focus on what is in your hand already or on the shop floor of possibility?

Life as it appears is just that - a shop floor of possibility. We create the nuances, mixtures, brush strokes that form the perception of possibility otherwise called “Reality”. That equates to 7,000,000,000 plus versions of reality that exist on the planet today. None is truer than another but every dream of a Life fulfilled is possible when you know where to place your focus.

Realise Your Vision

If you are unaware of the internal workings of a magnetic compass the needle on the dial operates via an internal magnetic force that is not easily visible to the naked eye.

In order to bring the horizon to you, you must first realise what your magnet looks like. In other words what is the Vision for Your life? When you are clear on what your ultimate purpose in life is you have dialled into your internal compass and its magnetic force keeps the needle pointing Your True North.

This internal compass is not as simple a mechanism as a physical compass. The multiple layers that form ones personality can be knocked out of sync when misaligned with your beliefs, values, attitudes etc. It is on these occasions when you are likely to feel less yourself; feel lost, stuck or overwhelmed; and when the horizon feels further away than it actually is.

In order to ensure that you are aligned to your Vision and Life’s Goals, supported and skilfully guided, consider making a worthwhile investment into your personal development.

Live in the Moment, Live for You

When you are clear on where you are heading – the horizon, your vision – you can begin to build your Work of Art one brush stroke at a time. At the same time embrace the scent of paint, feel the deft flick of the brush and delight in what you see before you. This is how to live in the moment.

Each brush stroke is a single goal. Some may take longer to apply than others; none more or less important than the other. The secret to being successful in the application of your goals is to choose those that are most compelling – Make Your Mouth Water. More often than not, the man that explains how he set himself goals before but found them difficult to achieve did not set grippingly juicy goals in the first place. You have got to taste it to make it.

And remember that whether you take action or do nothing, the choices that you make are your responsibility, nobody else's so watch your language.

In the world of fulfilled living, the days of “Life is so hard”, “Oh brother it’s Monday”, “Thank God it’s Friday” and “Every day is a battle” are truly gone. Celebrate with a courageous heart and a heart filled with gratitude because, like a bungee cord of momentum, it will draw the horizon to you with a suddenness that will surprise you.

Each and every life is important. That includes YOURS and living yours to the full is so important. We only ever get the one so what are you waiting for?
