Back into full time employment

My new years resolution was that by May I would have a full time job and a healthy salary. Not knowing where or how I would do it I set off to find a job that was right for me. Last week, I started that job! Just 2 weeks before my May deadline...

I now feel I have achieved what I set out to achieve. I've proved that working in a way that you love really is possible. Work doesn't have to be hard and it can be so much fun! Now I'm ready for a new challenge. A big challenge. I want to master the art of making money in abundance while doing things that I love.

What if all this running around trying to save the planet doesn't make the blindest bit of difference? What if at the end of my life I meet the big guy in the sky and he says 'nice try Selina but the whole point was to enjoy yourself you muppet'?

I feel that I have finlly reached the top of the mountain and am looking down into a valley on the other side with a career stretching ahead of me that will be truly fulfilling and that will be a never ending journey offering me unforeseen opportunities to grow, contribute and enjoy life to the full.

I guess I have to accept that change is all part of the rich texture of life and there's no way of avoiding growing pains. But there's got to be a way of handling it better than wallowing in it and feeling sorry for myself.

It's funny how sometimes you make a decision to move in a certain direction and all of a sudden, as if a compass were inside you, you just know it's not the right way to go...and something quiet inside whispers to you to go in another direction, to trust that it's the way for you to go.
