New free skills assesment site for career changers

You may have tried out some of the online tests Nisa Chitakasem tested in her recent article. Well, we have another one for you!

The University of Essex has been running a skills project over the past year with funding from the government's Economic Challenge Investment Fund.
 
One component of the project has been the creation of a new transferable skills assessment for people of Level 3 skills+ (A levels+). It's hosted by the University's online business support portal VentureNavigator, and is totally free to use by anyone at any stage of their career.
 
The 10 minute questionnaire goes through 6 key types of skills, and a nifty diagram tells you where your strengths and weaknesses lie.
