Career Inspiration: Age doesn't matter if you're a marathon runner or career shifter

By Sab

Hi there,

Anyone else watch the London Marathon at the weekend? What a shot of inspiration! I’m always in awe of the older runners, this year the oldest man and woman to finish were 86 and 83 years old respectively, and I think the woman had been doing them for the past 13 years. Definitely an alternative option to golf, fishing and gardening if you’re planning your retirement.

Inspirational links have an American flavour to them this week:

From admin and IT to the FBI - you too could become a, err, spy

Plenty of examples of people who have changed career (and watch the video about a graphic artist who wants to set up a café/venue)

Admin to pottery to painting. Best line in this article: “maybe multiple lives can be lived in one lifetime”
